We are having a math assessment on Tuesday. A math review packet was sent home with your child today to start practicing. Please be sure to review the vocabulary words found on the bottom of the second sheet and make sure your child knows how to apply them. The words are: product, round, estimate, reasonable, front end estimation, array and area model, multiplication sentence. The topics are : multiplying by tens, a 3 digit number by a 1 digit number, 2 digit by 2 digit, 3 digit by 3 digit, finding array models, area models, and estimation. IXL is also a good way to review.
There is a spelling assessment tomorrow in class. The words are: whole, could, should, through, does, answer, great, learn, wrong, write. Your child will be responsible to know how to spell the words, use them in a sentence, and there will be a proofreading exercise as well (knowing where to use capitals, punctuation, etc.)
